MELISSA BARBOSA-GUZMÁN

Melissa is a native of Illinois, a 1999 graduate of DePaul University in Chicago and a 2003 graduate of the Northern Illinois University, College of Law.    During her studies at DePaul University she studied abroad at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Mérida, Mexico.

Melissa is bilingual in English and Spanish and as the daughter and granddaughter of Mexican immigrants,  she is passionate about helping individuals and families who have stories, struggles, and dreams similar to her own family members.
